Marvel Snap Patch Notes - March 21, 2023

The March 21, 2023 patch for Marvel Snap sees some notable balance changes and card acquisition changes. Thanos (mostly the Infinity Stones) and the Quinjet both get a nerf that should diminish the frequency of Thanos Lockjaw decks by a good amount. Aero also gets a nerf that should see getting less usage.

Marvel Snap - March 2023 Season Pass - Days of Future Past

The March 2023 Season Pass for Marvel Snap, Days of Future Past, is out now and runs through April 3, 2023. Days of Future Past takes its theme from an X-Men story arc that saw a dystopian future where Sentinels have overrun the US and eliminated or imprisoned most of the superheroes and mutants there.

The February 21, 2023 Patch is up from Marvel Snap and you can update your game in the app store if you haven't already. The patch includes a Series Drop for several cards, a buff to Thanos, and nerf to Darkhawk, among other things.

Marvel Snap: Zabu and Silver Surfer Balance Changes - February 8, 2023

February 8, 2023 saw nerfs to two high-usage/popular cards in Marvel Snap--Zabu and Silver Surfer. The card balancing reveals how the game's developers are now able to implement some "over the air" (i.e. without a patch) card content changes.

Given the changes, it looks like "over the air" changes amount to changing the numbers on the cards such as cost, power, and power/cost increases/decreases as it relates to abilities.

With the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania movie coming up, the latest season pass for Marvel Snap adopts an Ant-Man theme and is called, "Into the Quantum Realm."

This season features MODOK. a new character/card that you can obtain by purchasing the Season Pass.

Marvel Snap 2023 Lunar New Year Nian Challenge Event

Marvel Snap welcomes the upcoming 2023 Lunar New Year with the Nian Challenge Event, where players join together to help defeat the Nian Beast.

Marvel Snap Announces Which Series 4 & 5 Cards are Dropping Down a Tier

It was late November of last year that Marvel Snap first introduced Series 4 & 5 cards as higher rarity cards and they plan to drop some of them one tier lower on January 31, 2023 (unless any issues come up).

The Series 5 cards that will move to Series 4 (which means you'll have a 10 percent chance of getting one instead of a Series 3 card when opening a Collector's Reserve as opposed to 1 percent for a Series 5 card) include:

Marvel Snap Patch Notes - January 10, 2023

The January 10, 2023 patch for Marvel Snap sees a few buffs and nerfs to a few cards. The nerfs in particular don't look to make all that much impact. Particularly, the nerfs to Galactus and Leader could see them used more with Mr. Negative.

January 2023 sees the arrival of the Savage Land season pass in Marvel Snap as well as the reveal of several new Series 5 cards, five new locations, and the upcoming arrival of Battle Mode where you can play with friends.
